By popular demand, the meet has been expanded to a four-day event, and will again be held in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, action packed Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Our host motel is the Vacation Lodge, located on US Hwy. 441 at Traffic Light #7. H-E-T’ers will receive special group rates of $60 for single Queen, $70 for double Double and $75 for double Queen. Upgraded rooms are available at an additional cost. The entire Lodge has been blocked for the H-E-T Club. All reservations must be made by October 1 in order to guarantee the group rate. Rooms not reserved by that date will be released to the public. To make reservations, call 1-800-468-1998 (865-453-2640, In Tennessee), ask for Kathy, and specify you are with the Hudson Club (a one night deposit is required, and there is a 10% Cancellation Fee). There will be a Hospitality Suite, Swap Meet area in back, the fabulous Low Country Boil on Friday evening, with Banquet nearby on Saturday. Door Prize drawings and a 50/50 Raffle will be held, as well as Awards for the Oldest H-E-T and Longest Distance Driven. The Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area offers a variety of shopping, dining, shows and attractions sure to please everyone. You can walk, drive, or catch the Pigeon Forge Trolley, which stops in front of the Lodge. There's so much to see and do, we encourage you to come early and stay late.

  • Just a reminder for those coming to Pigeon Forge...It is Fall in the mountains and the temperatures vary greatly from day to day. Bring a warm jacket for those 30/40 degree nights and T-shirts/ shortsleeves for the 70/80 degree days. We have had frost on the windshields in the morning and kids in the pool that afternoon.
Oh Yeah, This is a shameless bump also..

  • Lots of Hudsons, really nice cars, few trucks, some street rods, but lots of really nice cars. Been there many years and enjoyed each year and learned more about Hudsons each year. Good fellowship, renewed friendships inside and outside our club. I think about 5 clubs come, no limit. All are Welcome,

    Bob(not shameless)

I believe my wife and I are going to try and make the trip. It is 185 miles from Tucker Ga. and takes about 4 hours according to Mapquest. We will drive up early Firday morning and leave to come back Sat. evening. We have plans for Sunday that we can't change. It sounds like a fun time and looking forward to meeting new Hudson people. We will be driving the 50 pacemaker and will enjoy the trip I'm sure. Richie.
  • Great Richie! The more the Merrier....

  • We're getting RSVP's from all over: Michigan, Indiana, New York, Canada.

Great people. Great cars. Lots of fun.

    Come join us.

We had a great time last year, and decided to come early this year.

    Mark,

It's your lucky day. I have one with me that has been welded, but has not been checked on an engine. I was going to run it on a test engine, but never got alround to it. I'll have my stuff in the parking lot in the morning. I csn't guarentee that it will be perfect,so..Make me an offer...Right now we are waiting out the rain in the campgrounds.

We'll see you in the morning.

I'm actually not in the market for perfection, nor serviceability. I need to machine off the outer lip of the sheave so I can bolt something else to it. I'm certainly not going to do that to a perfectly good double sheave damper!

  • Well, It is Sunday evening and the Hudsons in the Heartland XIX meet is
    history. :-(
We started out on Thursday with beautiful weather and the Hudsons were
coming in before I got there. Some had arrived as early as Monday and stayed
    all week.
Thanks to Bill Cox and Lloyd and Joyce Whedbee for getting the Hospitality
room set up and going on Thursday.
The Low Country Boil on Friday was a success and many that had never
attended the Boil before said they wished they had tried it in years past.
Many thanks to Jerry Hobbs, who, along with his grandson Brandon did such a
    great job preparing the feast.
I thought the Mountain Strings Trio did a great job also. I had several
people say how much they enjoyed the music.
Thanks to the Mid-South chapter for the many door prizes they provided and
for their help in making the meet a success.
Thanks to the members of the Smoky Mountain Heartland Chapter for their
    hard work also.
Saturday, even though the banquet had to be cancelled, was a beautiful day
and the swap area had a lot of business going on, so I don't think the
Banquet was missed that much, and everyone was free to do whatever they
    wanted.
The Management and Staff, of the Vacation Lodge are to be commended for the
superb service we have received over the years and the contributions they
    have made to the meet.
All these things are important to the success and growth of the meet.
Most importantly, THANKS TO ALL that attended and I hope that everyone got
home safely, and that You will all come back next year..............For the
20th annual "Hudsons in the Heartland Meet"

    THANKS

    See You next year,
