Rear window removal.

On our '39 coupe, I peeled the gasket back from the body and then used an exacto knife to cut thru the gasket, then popped the window out from inside. I was able to do this by myself as the quarter windows were already removed.
Don't know if there is any way to safely remove it without cutting the gasket.

John,
On my 41 sedan I also cut the gasket all the way around and proceded to go on the inside and evenly push the window where it would just protrude out enough to grab. I was by myself and to my horror it popped out and slid down the trunk and onto the ground. Have someone help you so the same thing doesn't happen. By the way,I couldn't believe it didn't break. Jim0
