Pics From Brochure
Hey guys, It's Phil. I have some brochures for stepdowns and I thought you'd like to see some of the pages. I have another B&W brochure(more Brown&W). Let me know if you'd like to see them all. Your's for the viewing. These pics are too small. Could someone tell me how I can get one large page(or)5? Up the KBs? Phil

Don't mean to be presumptuous but, this is the first time I posted a thread and got no help. Can I presume no one knows how to work the picture attachments? Not upset, just would love to post these brochure pics so you guys can see them. I have a lot! The attachment section states that the maximum allowed is 97.1 kb and the pictures come out on the thread very small but, I have seen bigger pictures posted. So I'm confused. Please can someone enlighten me? Forever yours, Phil Walsh0

Hi Phil, I don't know how to get pictures on this forum any larger than 97 kb either, but if you wish to post them on my website, www.hudsoncollector.com they'll go up any size, and I'll link them all to this forum with one click of the mouse. Some other members have done this, and it really helps get the detail out.
If you have trouble posting them to hudsoncollector, email them to me ( any size ), and I'll post them for you. You'll find an email link to me under "about me" in the forums at the top of the page. If you still have trouble with this, just let me know here and I'll post my email address here.

If you're looking for comments, yes, I would love to see, (have a copy) of them in a larger format. I, like others here, typically hate posting pictures to the site. Not being a 'puter guru, it generally takes me 15 or 20 minutes of fiddling with the re-sizing to get it small enough to post on this board. Ryan's site is the way to go, as you can post pics as large as you want.
Thanks for taking the time and effort to share, it is most appreciated.0 -
Dear Ryan, Can I only post one pic at a time? If not. how do I post more than one at a time? Plus I keep going back to post more and nothing happens. I posted three times but can't anymore ????????? Please send me your E-mail adress and I'll upload the attachments. Phil0

Sorry you're having troubles with the posting Phil. Please send them to HCryan.ankney@gmail.com and I'll get them up for you. (remove the HC in the email address) so the spam harvesters don't get their hooks into me please from posting it here. :-)
I must admit I'm no computer guru either, so I post everything one picture at a time too, but at least that gives me a space to caption each one. My son was helping me a few years back, but he's sort of set me adrift now with the site, so I muddle along as best I can anyway. As the song says -- with a little help from my friends ( on this forum ), I'll get by !! :-)
Looking forward to getting them online for all to enjoy !!

Nothing has showed up yet Phil, either via email or on the website.
I assume you became a member on hudsoncollector, (I had to make this a requirement to shut down a couple of spammers trying to use the site for their own devious ends), and logged in before trying to post something. Once logged in, then you have full posting priviledges, and then can choose a site you wish to post the pics or text to in Forums at the top of the home page.
Once in forums, choose a sub-category ( maybe "old time pictures" or another), and click "new thread". Give your new thread a name, and enter your text, ( some text is required before pics can be posted ), and then go to the browse window to locate your pictures on your own computer, select and "open" the picture to the browser window, then "post the thread.
Once the first one is up, hit post reply, enter some text ( can be just "pic #2), browse to find pic, open to browser, and post reply.
It gets easier and easier once you get the thread started and get the first post up. I do it this way myself, for multiple pictures, and it seems to work ok for me.
I sure hope this helps Phil. If you've emailed them to me, make sure you removed the "HC" at the front of my email address, or it won't fly.
