There is a 1947 Hudson on Ebay (Nice Car) with a Fisher Body tag on the Fire wall--Did Hudson Contract with Fisher Body for a 4-door Sedan? What is wrong with this photo?

Same seller has a '26 Chevy for sale on eBay...that photo also appears with that listing and looks much more like that car.

Hal has it right. The Fisher Body tag also appears on the seller's '26 Chevy ad with same Body No. and Job No. Also the over stray color in the photo matches the '26 Chevy's color.
  • The FBI and CIA don't have anything on you guys. ;)

Car looks fantastic body and trim wise, pity they don't show any of the under carriage, seems to be a few minor water leaks around the freeze plugs etc.

Love to know what the reserve is, always amazes me why a car with such low mileage needs a full retrim , my 1942 Brougham which is a few years older than this one still has pefect trim for it's age and no way would I entertain the idea of a FULL retrim. Just my opinion. What a wonderful paint job and I love the colour.

The engine in these cars look so small compared with the 6 in the 1929s. Maybe my eyes ? LOL :)
  • Hi all,

Strangely enough, Fisher did supply the bodies for the first Essex 4's. My 1920 SX has a Fisher Body.
