Couple of rare convertibles, a '30 H rd., and my old '39 H6 (back up for sale again) consigned to eBay today. Be interesting to see if either sells as any potential buyer will now undoubtedly have to pay cash, LOL!

'39 now with more comprehensive display of photos and of better quality.

  • The reserve on the 1930 Hudson 8 is just under 45K.

The guy with the 39 was previously asking around 29K.

It is extremely rare as well as in excellent original condition (sans engine & firewall cut). Only 2 or 3 of these model 92 convertibles exist.

I got it from a family who had had it for decades in Berkeley, Calif.

It is a convertible brougham & a photo shows the original side curtains. The original runningboards are in perfect condition which is most unusual for a nearly 70 year old car! The boot over the top in the photo is the original too with rear glass part of the top too.

1930 Hudson Roadster - fellow implies it's the only one left. Well, let me see - Seems like I recall a fellow name of Carl Weber who has one. Probably a few more out there somewhere.

    Definitely!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I am pretty sure the hot rod 41 is a car that was built in PA. It was originally a coupe and was converted to a convertible using a junk convertible that was beyond saving. It has a 454 Chevy and turbo 400 when I last saw it. Hornut

My 39 "Martz" convertible was a twin to yours before the fellow in New York took a knife to it back in 1953. Would you send my email to the gentleman who bought your car? I would love to chit-chat with him now and then. brownie.petersen@atk.com

    Thanks,
