back surgery

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to say that my dad, Rick Lawrence has had back surgery yesterday and is doing well. Atleast up for bathroom trips sooon after, but i am sure he will prbably be in the hospital over the weekend. He had some bulging disks worked on and they put some hardware in to strengthen certain spots as needed.

I've had back surgery and I know what it's like. Everything went well and I'm glad I had it done. I wish your dad well, and a speedy recovery.

Please wish your father well, Lisa. Backs are tricky things and can cause you a whole lot of grief. Tell him to to obey his doctors' orders in every way!

Lisa, I hope your Dad, makes a complete recovery and that it is very quick. My dad had back surgery twice and needed more but he refused it. Said it was too risky the third time..Prayers for your dad!

Thanks for all the well wishes and i will tell him tomorrow when i visit again.

He is doing welland both he and mom are pretty tired. We also found out theat he is diabetic but should only need pills and a change of diet.

Hey Lisa,

I had both a neck disc and a back disc done. Both came out great and I never felt better! I also followed docs orders TO A T! He said I couldnt work on my Huddy at all either and that was HARD! But after following his orders I can now for hours on end!

Wishing your dad a speedy, and complete, recovery. That's why I stayed away from doctors for as long as I could - they find things!!!! LOL But better to find than not.
