whats it worth?
yeah i hate these threads too, but im considering putting my 31 essex rumble seat coupe up for sale. i want to build a hotrod and although its a really clean car, i think id like to build something else. not to mention how much heat i get any time i mention modifying the car. so, its a 31, all black, old laquer paint job that shines up real nice with a few scratches and chips from use. interior is nice, redone some time in its life. rumbleseat re done too. car runs and drives, does burn a bit of oil and leak some too. has a freshly relined clutch, new exhaust, new battery, new tires tubes and rim strips. there is another engine, trans a quite a few other parts to go with it. i know now is not the time to sell a car with the bad economy, but i drove it about 3 or 4 times this year and dont like the thought of it just sitting there.

I sold my '30 Hudson rumble seat Coupe 15 years ago for $5,000, it was running and a great body. The third person that seen it at Pomona swap meet bought it, 6:20am. Have you seen the pic's of 3131 essex that he hot rodded? It looks great!0

You may also want to advertise this in the HET magazine, which has a larger Hudson-based readership than this website. If you're not a member and wish to do so, contact me and I can your ad into the next issue (no cost, of course).
