Pigeon Forge Meet

You are right Hudzilla, this was our first Hudson event and we had a great time. We met some new friends there and some old friends as well. I didn't get to meet everyone that I wanted to but did manage to meet quite a few. Saturday turned out great, weather was good and we got to check out all the beautiful Hudsons. My wife found shamless Bob and introduced me to Bob and Judy. I had never seen so many Hudsons in one place and loved every minute. We are planning on going again next year. Seems Hudson people are easy to talk to and are a wealth of information. I had several very informative conversations and the time just flew by. We had a commitment back home in Tucker Ga. so we left Saturday afternoon. Wish we could have stayed, maybe next year we will be able to stay til the end. All in all it was a great time, and thanks to Bob and Judy for the opportunity to enjoy such an event. Richie.0

Great show, great meet, great folks.
My Dad and I enjoyed every minute and learned a great deal.
So many folks to visit with, and always not enough time. I actually was so carried away with my conversations, I forgot to register. We're going to have to dedicate more time for this event, saturday isn't enough.
I'm surely going to have to make it through the swap area earlier in the morning.

Bill actually snapped a picture of my Dad standing to the right of Matt's Pacemaker. If I had my guess about it, while Bob Parks and I were talking Richie to death about his Pacemaker Brougham.
I looked all over Matt's car, never got to meet him though.0 -

Mark, that was all good conversation,I enjoyed it. Was great to see you again and chat. Was nice to meet Bob and put a face to a forum name. You both have a great deal of knowledge about Hudsons and I enjoyed our talk. I did get to meet Matt also and he told me some of the history connected to his Pacemaker. Richie.0 -

Good to see Matts car at PF meet. The last time I was in Bolivar, NY to visit with Matt's Dad Ed, he took me for a ride in that car. Since then it has been to Florida and now Tenn. Well traveled Hudson and owner.0 -
Thanks to every body that drove a fabulious Hudson. Seeing the cars really make the event and then seeing old friends, making new friends and talking about the cars.
I like finding needed parts too.
Maybe we need to do this again in the spring, while it's still cool. What do you think??
I'm glad I got to meet some of our forum friends, names with faces. I've been looking forward all year for this meet. Hope ya'll are making your reservations for next year, I've made mine.
Maybe I'll have one to drive next year. Bob (not shameless)0 -

Your most welcome, enjoyed meeting you and your wife, mine was shopping.
You brought some interesting parts, guess I should have bought some. Bring your Hudson next year.

I was around most of the time, but our 7 month old baby wasn't feeling too well. We spent a lot of time laying low inside and keeping her out of the weather. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet everyone I wanted to. We had a great time though, and I did see lots of old friends and met some new ones.
My favorite cars were the 38? Terraplane with the Hornet engine and the truck with the Buick 3800.
We already made our reservations for next year. Hope to have my truck at that one as well.
