Its actually a Brougham, but that's just as good, IMHO.

I got an email from the guy; not much rust, hasn't been started in about a year. He says it needs to be gone through before operation. I'm looking for a Wasp bro-ham project so I'm waiting for more pictures from the seller, but 7300 seems kinda high. What do you guys trhink?

    R/ Roger.
  • IMHO worth $4,000, 4,500 ish. Beware of rust.

It might be worth the asking price if it doesn't need much work. Even the best pictures can be deceiving and a seller's opinion of a car's condition and operation may not be in-line with reality. Use caution if buying sight unseen.

I agree. I'm still of the 4-5K mindset, I guess. But, hey, if it's really good and rust free and doesn't take much to get it going, just might be worth it. Kinda rare model, 2 door, which is a plus. Big questions: how much rust in frame and/or floor and trunk pans, how complete (interior included), how much is the buyer going to be into for mechanical repairs?

    Just thinking out loud, folks.

Looks more like a $2500-3500 to me needs everything for a proper restro, but hey you never know, a good car wash might change my thinking. LOL

I like the 4-5k mindset too, but that doesn't seem to buy much of a Hudson these days. I think that in addition to condition, value depends on how rare a model the car is. On more common models, there's more of a chance to find a restored example for a reasonable price. If you want a less common model, sometimes you just have to be prepared to pay the price.
  • Looking at recent eBay ads I think this car is worth $25-30,000 :D
