Notice it said, "restore or street rod". Looks like a good candidate to restore, to me.

Speaking of that, Niels, when are you gonna show us some pics of the Coupe? I'd like to see how you're doing.
  • Russ,

I have a couple good pic's but don't know how to post them here. If you know how to do this, then maybe I can forward them to you to post for me? Niels

    To post pics here: Click

    'Go advanced', then

    'Manage Attachments'

    A window will appear,

Click 'Browse' which will take you into your files

Find the pic you want (97Kb or less) and open it

Then click 'upload' - you will see the file appear

    Get rid of the window

    clic 'submit reply'

My pic's are about 1.5 MB... too big. Is there still a way to post them?

When you click MANAGE ATTACHMENTS, a little window pops up to tell you the maximum size of the file you decide to post:

    bmp 19.5 KB

    doc 19.5 KB

    gif 19.5 KB

    jpe 19.5 KB

    jpeg 19.5 KB

    jpg 97.7 KB

    pdf 19.5 KB

    png 19.5 KB

    psd 19.5 KB

    txt 19.5 KB

    zip 97.7 KB

Since jpg files can be 97.7 kb each, you need to first open your photo in your photo processing software, like "Photoshop", and then reduce its size and resolution. Probably 100 dots per inch will be just fine on the internet. Then save the photo (giving it a new name, so your original (and higher-resolution) photo won't be lost. Go to your filing system and see if that new photo hasn't been reduced to less than 97 kb. If not, then go back to Photoshop, and make the photo even smaller. When it's below 97 you can post it here.

Otherwise, go to Classic Car's Photo Gallery (link is at the top of this page) and post your photo there. They can accept larger photos, and then all you need to do is find out the web address, and post after pressing the little yellow rectangular "image" icon on the posting form.
  • I must be dense but once I click on photo gallery, I can't find where or figure out how to post a pic. ..

    1. Go to the Photo Gallery Page

    2. Log in if you haven't yet. (I assume you're registered there). Log in is just under PORTAL PAGES link at right side, near top.

3.Click UPLOAD PHOTOS (it's under the PORTAL PAGES LINK.

    4. On the upload page, first select which category in which to place your photo.

    5. Under that, select the photo you want to upload. Click BROWSE and it will open your own file system, so you can move amongst your system's folders, and find the photo you wish to upload.

    6. Enter a title, then under that enter a description if you wish.

    7. Click UPLOAD/ SUBMIT

    (I think that's all.)
  • OK, I've tried but but no UPLOAD PHOTOS is under portals page link. I only show: home, search, profile, logout...

maybe i'll ask some one to just post them for me.

In the brown band, and beneath the HOME link, do you see

" Welcome to the Classic Car Photo Galleries!"

    or do you see

"Welcome, NHP1127" (or whatever your username is, there) ?

If it's the former, then you haven't signed in. Or maybe you haven't even registered yet. In either case, the ability to upload photos won't be yours.
