Interesting but not Hudson related
Something I saw at the show last night that was new to me and kind of interesting. There was a pretty nice little ford roadster at the show last night that had a Riley Two Port engine. It had twin exhaust and sounded like a tractor but it made me curious about the F head engine so I looked it up on the net. What an improvement over the little ford four banger and it really shows what improvements an F head makes over the L head engiine.

Yep, Charlie Yapp makes a wonderful..improved Riley Two Port. I have one of his flat head high compression heads. I always wondered why no one made a overhead conversion for a Hudson. If the same ratio of HP gain was realized, WOW what an engine. Cost I guess...0
