Problem with New Freewebs Photo Site?
Went to the new website today where all the Hudson pictures were moved to, (www.freewebs.com/hudsontech) and a large red warning window popped up that gives the following warning:
Reported Attack Site!
This web site at www.freewebs.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.
Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.
Has anyone else run into this, and what might be the fix for it?

My poor old computer has enough problems as it is, it sure doesn't need any new cooties ! LOL.
Sure hope all those pictures aren't damaged, or worse yet lost:(

I got the same message. It's one I've never seen.0

I have noted the problems and have been working on it - running scans, etc.
I had this problem a while back - finally figured it out, but, as usual, can't remember what I did. There seemed to be a problem with just one one web browser - as I remember it was IE, tho a couple people reported problems logging on with Mozilla Fire Fox. Netscape seemed to work ok.
Last problem affected the whole site. In any event I have the photos backed up. Only one's I've lost so far are the Miscellaneous photos - 1909-1929. They were among the first that I transfered over from MSN and I didn't realize that I had to bring them over full size. Then I made my 2nd mistake - I deleted the MSN photos before I checked my web site. Discovered that if you bring them over as thumbnails, that they came out blurred when you tried to full size them on freewebs. Still working on bringing them back to full size. So since they were useless the way they were I deleted that album.

Thanks for the info Alex. I was using Firefox when it gave me the warning window.
I just tried opening the site with Internet Explorer, and it works fine, then went back right away, and tried Firefox again, and the warning window popped up again, so problem is definitely when using Firefox. Hope this info might help out.0 -
Went to the website uisng Firefox and got the same warning.
Went to the webiste uisng Internet Explorer and got no warning from "explorer", but my McAfee Viruscan popped up and said:
McAfee has automatically blocked and removed a Trojan.
About this Trojan
Detected: Exploit-PDF.f (Trojan)
Location: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\JCLD45XC\1[1].pdf
Trojans appear as legitimate programs but can damage valuable files, disrupt performance, and allow unauthorized access to your computer.
So, Alex, if you examine the "source" content of the website you might look for that JCLD45XC\1[1].pdf file, possibly that is the source of the Trojan.0 -
Have dropped Freewebs support a rocket giving the warning people are getting - will add yours to the list Jon. Thanks.
