    There is no evidence that an Italia convertible was ever built. What you see in this article is a picture of a model.

    There is evidence that a prototype plus 25 copies, and one Hornet Italia was built.

    So as far as we know, there was one clay model of a Convertible ? Or was there a possiblility of a complete functioning car .
