transmission part number

the box it was stored in said electric shift part and the part number 300869 is the part number i dont know what year it is our what part it is can anyone help me out with this one thank tom . .

    The part is a Transmission Switch Assembly for a 1948 -1951 Drive Master.

    Hudson Drive Master Transmission Switch Assy. Information taken from the 1948-1954 Hudson Master Parts Catalog, page 148. Group K22-6 It is apparantly an actuating switch for the Drive Master/Automatic Clutch hardware that was installed along the drivers side of the engine.
