Can some of you guys eloborate on the " Most records for speed- power and endurance". I'd like to be able to throw it around to back up my T-Shirt! Was it for the Hudson Marque or just for the Hornet?

    And that's just a list of wins!!! Hudson's had a lot of 2nd's, 3rd's, 4th's and top 10 wins.

And they continued winning after their NASCAR days - on local tracks. It is a fact that they did so well some tracks institued rulings against unit bodied cars, just to give others a chance to win :)

I echo the fact that modified Hornets were the engine of choice to power many Chevy, Ford, & Plymouth coupes on dirt Tracks nationwide all through the 60's until the Classes allowed larger V8's in the early '70's.... There are Web sites with pictures of many winning Hornet Powered Modifieds.....

That fact alone speaks volumes of the power Hornets produced more than a decade after production ceased....

A lot of the AAA records held because no other company decided to challenge them. Then in the '50's AAA basically got out of racing and race sanctioing. But it's not bull to say that statement is true.... it is.
