hornet brakes
Hi, I was wondering if I could get some advice as to how I can further dissasemble the brake master cylinder off my 57 hornet. I got the bendix treadle vac taken down to the point that I cant get what I guess is called the vac sleeve out, preventing me from unbolting the master cylinder from the vacuum cylinder. I see no screws or pins and just cant figure it out... any help?

on two of the corners of the mounting flange there are tabs bent around to hold it together. you need to straighten these. a little persuasion will then be need to release the end plate from the cork gasket. once the end is loose the piston will slide out of the cylinder.0
