? on Steering column removal

Can someone give me the basic steps in removing the steering column from my 54 Hornet Special Sedan. Doesn't look to complicated but I would like some instructions before I jump in. Not covered in the manual I have.

Remove shift lever, direction indicator, steering wheel, under dash clamp, and linkage to automatic indicator



Under the hood, disconnect tranny linkage, and pull the pittman arm.

3 nuts hold the box to the frame studs. Remove nuts, slide the box off the studs and slide the whole thing down thru the floor and out thru the engine compartment.
