  • Hi,--- Contact Doug. Wildrick as he is the club's clutch specialist. Cliff Minard.
  • Did you set the clutch pedal free play 1 to 1-1/2" ? You may have too much free play....The new thicker recorked disc makes the throw out fingers move forward more....thus increasing the free play at pedal, and the corks expand when engine warms up, so i think you have too much free play at pedal, just enough to barely release clutch when cold, and definitely not eniough with warm/ hot engine.. Also, did you replace the rubber pads that go on the crossshaft bellcrank where they engage the throwout fork at bellhousing???? If these are worn or missing, same problem, wont push throwout in far enough to completely disengage clutch. New pads can be had from K-Gap or Doug Wildrick. It wouldn't hurt to contact Doug at drdoug@indy.net
