Sam, you have my address I will be pretty excited when that comes in the mail. Could you please include a tie as I don't have any.....LOL0

There was a dealer award for 1950 whose design was identical to the one on the tie clasp. I had one of them years ago but let it go, unfortunately. I don't remember the exact measurements, but as I recall it was 10" or 12" across and was designed to be displayed on a wall. Lettering, date and insignia were just like those on the clasp.0

I have a wooden plaque with the exact Hudson 1950 selling award logo on it like the tie clasp. The logo portion itself is made of plastic and it's tacked onto a wood base. The whole thing measures 10" x 8". It was given to me by an individual who worked for the company that manufactured the award for Hudson, Cruver Mfg Co. of Chicago (Cruver is probably best known for producing all those black acetate plastic friend/foe 1/72 scale ID models used by the U.S. military during World War II).0

My dad has one of those too. One of the salesmen from the dealership where my grandpa bought my car gave it to him. They really are a nice looking piece.

I too have one of those, plastic on a wood frame, from a dealership in Kansas I "raided" 40 years ago, LOL. I'll try to remember to photograph it next time I'm where it's located.0

Here arfe a couple of pictures of the one I have. This came out of an old established Hudson-Essex dealership that dated back into the late 20's. My dad received one from the company also, however his arrived broken and the zone office never did get it replaced. Jerry 53jetman0

Just found and bought one of these Swank (manufacturer) '50 Hudson tie clasps on Ebay today, Jan. 19, for $9.99 "Buy It Now". So, they're out there at a reasonable price (I wonder if these things are quite common as I found it immediately with an Ebay search and the individual selling it had recently dropped the price a few bucks).0

mine is identical except different dealer on plaque, as I recall from one in Larned, Kansas0
