Reminder: New Hudson Photo Album Site

The old Hudson Photo Album Site will be shutting down -- along with the rest of the MSN "Communities" -- in February.

I've transferred all the photos (which folks have been uploading there for ages) to a new photo site at http://hudsonpix.multiply.com/

To view the photos, click the PHOTOS tab at the top of the page. You'll see the latest crop of uploaded photos, and -- at the bottom of the page -- a series of numbers, 1 to 14. Each number opens up a page of photos.

Each of those photos is the "portal" to a particular photo album which was uploaded to the Hudson Photo Album Site at some point. Click that "portal", and the whole series of photos contained therein, will open up.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to index all these "portals", so you'll simply have to click through every page and every "portal photo" to see the hundreds of photos contained in the photo site. Sorry!

Even if you were a member of the old photo site, you will have to re-register at the new site to have posting privileges. If you find your old photo album at the new site you may wish to add or subtract to the photos there. Unfortunately, I've not figured out how you would get "permission" to do that. I don't know if "permission" can somehow be transferred to your new registration. So for the time being, you'll simply have to start a new album to upload photos to, and not try to add them to your existing album. (If anyone figures out how people can access their "old" album, please let me know!

By the way, Paul Schuster's interesting photo essay on how to remove a rear wheel drum, can be found in the new site at http://hudsonpix.multiply.com/photos/album/52/REAR_WHEEL_PULLER . This is an excellent "tutorial" for newbies who have never attempted this awesome task!
