Making a double groove crankshaft pulley

I want to make myself a double groove stepdown crankshaft pulley, but I don't have one to copy.



I'm guessing that its just like a single groove pulley - of which I do have one to look at - but with an extra groove on the radiator side of the pulley.



Is that about it?



Is the extra groove still for a B section belt, and the same diameter as the water pump groove?



What are the groove centres?

    I have access to the double pulley on my 308. I can measure and photograph it for you. Stand by.

    Bob, The double pulley has norrower grooves than the wide single one. If you just want to add an additional accessory, Like airconditioning, i would add one narrow pulley to the front of the stock one. That keeps all the wide belt stock parts functioning as they were designed. It shouldn't be too hard to machine a single narrow pulley to bolt on top of the stock one. My 49 has one that the original pulley has been machined off completely and a double Chevy Pulley bolted on. That required repositioning EVERYTHING.
