I bought a couple red shifter knobs from them for a very good price. It was a good transaction. However, their prices are all over the place- IMHO most are too high.0

Heres the deal with Bill and Charlies Antique Auto....
It was started a couple of years ago with old packard and other antique auto parts. It also for some reason had a bunch of GM parts that wer ebought from a closed dealer. They had basically high school kids running it and they didn't really do much with it. It kind of fizzled.
Then they decided to buy Ken Amens entire collection of parts and some other smaller collections people had. They also had about 10 0r 15 Hudsons complete cars for parts as well.
They got rid of the high school kids and hired me.... I am MIKE
We now just sell Hudson parts and whats left of our original parts supply which isn't much some model A some Packard.
I don't have a ton of experience with Hudson stuff like most of you guys on here. I do have a mechanical background but I mostly was into custom fabrication before this stuff. I have been at it about 4 months with these guys and we are just getting going. Its hard to price items fairly, and its hard to identify alot of parts from Hudsons (its pretty complicated) altho I do know stepdowns pretty good.
We are in the process of moving all our inventory into one new wharehouse dedicated just for this hudson parts. We have 4 semi loads of 10 here so far but have to electronically inventory everything with pictures prices applications etc. Its a very time consuming thing. Its slow going now but the more we get done the more organized we will be. Pretty soon we'll be one of the most complete Hudson parts guys around.
Untill then please bear with us, we are in our experimental stage. Its only me here every day 7 days a week. For the phones, emails, ebay sales, packing, shipping everything. I'm sure when things take off I will get more help.
Anyways just wanted to explain a little about who we are since most people only reconize the name. I have had over 200 sales with only 1 return in the last few months. Anyone who has bought from me will say they got what they bought on ebay in at least or better condition than I listed it at. I'm trying my best to be honest in all the descriptions so people know what they are buying. In the beginning they had me doing ebay but someone else responding to emails, questions, and calls. It was a mess and alot of messages went unanswered. For that I apologize it was out of my hands.
Now everything is being done by me, so it at least gets handled. It might not always be easy to get ahold of us here as its just me, but I call everyone back and answer all emails usually same day or next at the worst.
I thank you for your time reading this and like I said I just wanted to fill in the blanks for people who might be wondering what the deal is with Bill and Charlies ( Bill and Charlie are the owners and investors only) they are not here nor do they answer questions etc. If you get pissed forget about wanting to yell at Bill or Charlie.....its just me.... ~Mike~
But like I said, I am kind of new to Hudson but ask people who have done business with me and they will tell you I am a straight shooter and if I don't know I will tell you not make up some bs. altho I can be pretty resourceful as well. I am honest, I am a people person, and I love old cars.
I am trying to build a business with a good reputation for honesty and reliabilty. I know we are in a economic nightmare right now and trying to get a business up and going is hard as heck. I have no choice this is my livelyhood and my families only income but I know people are shopping for cheaper prices now then ever. Anyways if you see something on ebay or are looking for something please call or email me. It never hurts to call and see.
I just wanted to introduce myself and explain how to get in contact with us.
Please use the following methods.
emails, please send to :
hudsonparts@hotmail.com
from there I can send pictures to you of parts we have etc. or by phone call:
(815) 678-2886 you might have to leave a message but I will get right back.
We are also selling on Ebay as billandcharliesantiqueauto.
Thank you and I look forward to meeting and talking to all of you.

I just (a couple weeks ago) won an Ebay auction for an item being sold by Bill and Charles (whom I'd never dealt with before). There was a 2-day delay where they didn't answer my e-mailed inquiry, but then they apologized for the delay and sent the item speedily, and well-packed. And it was exactly as described in the auction. So, I would guess that, if they don't answer, it's probably because they're really busy (or the e-mail got misplaced). I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try to contact them once more.0

Charles Eldredge and Dave Correllus (above) are HET Club Members and their businesses are listed under "Member Parts & Services" in the WTN. The Club's history of members selling to members is a very good one. Like all instances of multiple transactions, there are occasional glitches and disputes. I would say that the resolution record of members is outstanding. Price? Since cars & parts are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, price is always between the buyer and the seller.0 -
