I need a wiring harness for my 1936 Hudson 8 sedan. Any recommendations out there?

Y n Z Wiring in Fontana, Calif.; they have a lot of Hudson wiring looms & are well tagged and of the best quality.

Brownie, Rhode Island Wiring has all the '36H harnesses, and are great folks to do business with. Does your car have the mechanical stoplight switch up on the master cylinder, or the hydraulic one back on the frame, just forward of the rear axle "kick"?

    Park,

There is not one on the master cyl so, I expect that it is in the back.

I used YandZ in my '46 Commodore Coupe on Bill Albright's strong recommendation and am sure glad I did. My mechanic--24 years old--tore out all the old wiring and installed the Yandz. He said the instructions were so good that the only way you could make a mistake was if you couldn't read.

The others may be just fine but I know YandZ works from personal experience.

Y and Z is in Redlands, CA. They will mahe up what ever you need. i found a 46 turn signal relay and they took the old harness and duplicated it right down to the connectors. they are busy so it may be a month or two.

    Hey,

I have used Ron Francis in the past although not yet on my Huddy and have been very happy with their products as well. I especially like the fuse panel that you can designate the circuit as key hot or always hot just by placement of the fuse.

Again, not sure if they would be a custom for us or not as of yet.
