Brake Pedal Puller

I am in need of a procedure to pull the brake pedal from the lever after I get the 5/8" nut off.

I do not own the puller listed in the manual so I am not sure how to proceed.

BAck the nut off flat against the rod. Heat with a torch the head of the shaft . Hit the back of the nut with a hammer. Short quick jolts. Without heat it wont move well.

First: Thank you for the reply and procedure.

Second: Will a propane torch be hot enough? I do not own an Oxy/Actel system.

Third: Proper tip for the torch is a "Rose" tip, correct?
