Painless radio conversion?
I just got this in the e-mail. Anybody have any experience with this? Not cheap at $150, but looks like an easy fit, and will work with our 6-volt pos. ground too. However, I didn't have time to read through all the information....

The site has a video demonstration that does a good job in explaining how it works. I am thinking of getting one.0

That's great update for ipods and satellite radio! I got an older Radio Shack FM Tuner from another Hudson owner, which operates through a dedicated channel above 1400 on AM band. (Channel is then selected and set with push button). Pre-selecting an AM channel for the FM input lets you go back and forth between AM and FM by using the preset button Does much the same thing as the newer unit, but restricted to what's broadcast within FM range.
Also found a 60's? vintage gizmo marketed as a "Stere-0-Matic Channelizer." Essentially a high-low frequency discriminator, it lets you send the treble frequencies (or vice versa) to the rear speaker, and base to front... which I guess is best for for us older folks. Great psuedo stereo! Or can also play front or rear speaker alone. But still have to wait for the tubes to warm up... Im operating on 12V, neg ground. While this new device is fairly costly, it looks like it will save you the cost of radio conversion. Walt-LA0
