Farewell to Aunt Ione
My aunt Ione Hinshaw, who with her husband Harold were long time members of the Hudson club, and local chapters here in Southern California, passed away this morning.
Although my uncle Harold was the one that introduced me to Hudsons as a child, it was my aunt Ione that made it possible to for me aquire the Hornet when he passed away about six years ago. It is also part her fault that I painted it orange. She thought the orange would be a much calmer color than the purple and yellow I originally wanted to paint it. I guess we all should be thankful for that!
She has moved on to a much better place.

Terry,
Sorry for your loss, my prayers go out to you and your family.
Kudos for you on keeping the Hornet in the family - it will provide many more wonderful memories and countless stories to share about your Aunt and Uncle and their love of Hudsons along the way.

Hello Terry,
So sad to hear of your loss. But your loss I suppose is heavens gain. Hopefully you'll have pleasant memories as she will be seated with you in your heart and mind as you enjoy the fine automobile she helped you to appreciate.
Blessings and comfort to you,
