Great weather here, if you saw my snow photos. To busy talking and taking all those good looking Hudson ladies rides in my old Terraplane and side car on my cycle to get any photos. My wife got these and I thought we should share. That good looking burgandy and silver step down is Bill Minnears and His wife and two daughters(and two dogs) were great hosts. Al Smoke and his wife never stopped moving to please everyone too.

Thanks for posting the photos, Glen. It was a great meet, especially for a new location and new hosts.

OHHH YEAAA! One great meet. Even got my old 49 with three shades of green in the picture! The Host Bob Minnear did an outstanding job of taking over for the Pratts that have hosted the winter meet for years. Having an entire airport to park in and a hanger to have the get to gether in.. GREAAT!

There was something for everyone. Being an old racer myself, I was interested in Bob's stock car. Also his aircraft painting business.. been there and done that too. I'm looking forward to next year. I think there were 20 Hudsons to look at, a few parts to buy and food to eat .The conversations lasted well into the night.Sorry i didn't get a chance to talk to everyone that was there.

I need to get in contact with Dave Nelson in FL, I heard he might be able to help me with my search since his dad had a Jet near St. Pete and was in the club at its beginnings.

I'm hoping to figure out what happened to a particular '54 Hudson JetLiner with continental kit. Unfortunately, I do not have a VIN. The history on it that I know is as follows:

It was purchased used in St. Petersburg, FL around '57 or so. In '61 or '62 the family moved to Arizona where new plates were purchased for the Jet. I believe the Arizona license plate number was CSV-560. The title and registration at the time was under Martha Weber or Martha and Emroy Weber. They did not belong in the Hudson club while in Arizona, but I'm hoping it was aquired by someone who may have eventually joined the club. Or perhaps someone knows how I can use this information to dig up a vehicle history and/or VIN on the car? It would have gone into new ownership into new ownership sometime between '65 and '69 is my best estimate, since the Weber family then moved to Washington and left the Jet behind in Arizona.

Yes, I've got the Grand Canyon Chapter sleuthing as well.

In the one picture, you'll notice that it's yellow. I believe it was given this paint job while still in Florida. Rumor has it that it needed some engine and/or transmission repairs and the wife gave the husband money to fix it and he spent the money on something else. And then at some point the husband may have sold it or lost it in a bad business deal with the car still needing those repairs.

I imagine this is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask you guys for feedback. Attached are a couple photos of the car.
