1951 fog lights placement
Does anyone have a good frontal photo of a 1951 with the fog lights placed according to factory suggestions? I recall seeing several 1951's with the lights placed between the horse collar and the bumper guards, but I understand the factory suggestion is to place them outside the guards. Any photos of this position would be appreciated. My 1951 Commodore 8 coupe is almost finished and ready for those fog lights! Thanks for any help.

Dee, you're exactly right in that the factory suggested the fog lights be placed to the outside. In fact, the fender extensions are notched for that reason. The purpose was to keep the accessory fog lights out of the line of air flow to the radiator.0

Thanks, Steve. Just looking for a photo that would show that installation. I'm not sure I've ever seen them there on a 1951.0
