    FYI

If I were you being so close to the site of this years HET National, I suggest holding off until July then bring your parts & tow your two Hudson's to display in the free Swap Area, or put a couple large vehicle Pictures on the cluster of Host Hotels Lobby Display Boards.
Additionally I would insert an Add in the WTN right now with these pictures stating how close to the Nationals then you will get many more interested people likely purchasing everything you have for decent prices..... The WTN has 'Thousands' of Readers while the Forum has only 40 to 90 Viewers a day It is apparet you have two really decent Hudson's to restore....

Conversly, As I age I am becoming more interested in methods Hudson enthusiasts dispose of their prized collections to help direct my Family (who have no interest in my Hobby) dispose of my Hudson's someday, but in particular my Parts collection to the people that could use the Parts. Looking for a simpler method though since everyone resides out of State to prevent two guys and a truck tossing everything into a dumpster; However, if I were daughters living out of State, that would be the easist method.
  • I have thought about the the HET National comming up and hauling everything to the swap meet but this would be quite a chore. I have much more than pictured. Some nice stuff, some not so nice, Some stuff i have not been able to inspect yet. My experience with swap meets in the past is spend a lot of time and money to take everything to a meet and just to bring most everything back home. I fiqure word in this community travels fast. I will be posting an ad in WTN and Craigslist (metro detriot). I hope to start taking lot pictures to post for selling purpose soon.

You are right about spending lot of time selling at Swap Meets......Good Idea putting the Add in with description & pictures. Nat's being only 40 miles away is nothing if someone sees something you have and they need.
  • Do you have damaged coupe trim you would be willing to part with separately since the damaged stuff is harder to sell? I suppose I'd be interested in damaged sedan trim too.
  • I know the 42 sedan, Did you purchase it from an establishment around Mound rd and 22? Looks like a good starting point does it still have the vintage seat covers?
  • Yes thats the place. I bought it because it has everything the truck needs. But then i thought well there are other 42's that would be better for parts cars instead of cutting up a good restorable one. But now other obligations require the sale. If you interested, your welcome to stop by. If your not interested your still welcome to stop by.
