Yeah,They wont fit! Only if you drill out the bolt holes a lot which will make them weak and loose. Not a real fix. Been there, done that.

Were you able to find the right ones?
  • thats the forth pair he has listed. the ad says they are supposed to fit a jet. he dosent sound too sure. the first two sold for over 40 dollars. too much to spend to find out there wrong.

No. Someone needs to remake them at a reasonable price comparable to the full size Hudson ones sold at K-gap.Theres a guy who will remake them at $500 a pair! No thanks! Or find some N.O.S. ones for the Jet- not Rambler ones!

I don't know who ever listed that number as the right one, but it needs to be taken off the list ! A part should not have to be drilled and modified to the point of being unsafe ,to work!

Here are numbers for Jet motor mounts that DO work, trust me. :D

    NAPA Belkamp 602-1098 or

    Anchor 2150
  • The anchor ones A2150 are 6 bucks a piece at the site above.

Yes the Anchor 2150,or the Napa number are the ones that wont fit.Take an old Jet motor mount, and match it with the new one. IT WON'T LINE UP!

Just elongate the holes and they will work. We installed them that way on Laurie's Jet 5 years ago and they are fine!

Thanks for your information. Yes, I elongated the holes (see my earlier post) so they would fit the bolt pattern, but that does not leave much metal left on each side of the motor mount. In my opinion ,it compromises the strength of the unit if you have to make a panic stop. (Im restoring this car for my wife.) Even Napa when they saw this modification, would not recomend that they be used . When those part numbers are listed, it should be noted that the motor mounts " have to be modified to fit". We need ones like we have available for the full size stepdown that just drop in, without any slop. Always appreciate the help, but there has to be a better way.
