Anyone know this '52 Hornet?

Hi,



Just joined. My wife has convinced me to move from the two seaters to four. We have agreed on a Hudson.



This car for sale in Lodi California and offered by either Terry Helwig or John Pilcher, received these pictures from Terry who received them from John so not sure which yet.



Looking for a driver that I can work on and raise my 2 year old daughter and soon to be born son with.



If I go to look at it where should I look for rust or problem areas?

The car is uni-body. Looks for rust around the rear perimeter frame around the rear wheels and the rear bumper. Also check the front floorpans. Can you tell us any more about it ? What's the engine /trans combo ?

From the high res pictures it looks like stock 308 and HydraMatic. Which suits me as I am looking for stock and to keep it stock.



Now about this interior. I am doubtfull it is is the original style but I could be mistaken. Any comments?

Not the original style and the interior should be a gold / brown cord pattern with Brown trim. I'm sure if you google 52 Hudson Hornet interior or conduct a search on this forum, you'll see what a stock interior looks like. Perhaps some one can post a pic.
