U-Joint Flange Removal (gear box end)
Ok...silly me....I have my transmission out and drained and the clutch assembly packed and ready to ship. I have on hand all the gaskets and seals on hand to (with help) break down the main components of the gear box and replace all The leaking seals and gaskets.
Because the clutch was slipping, I was unable to get the U-Join flang nut loose while hte gear box was still installed in the car.
So, I am in need of your best bench trick/tip/technique to get this thing off. I know it has a lot of torque. And to help easy the road wear, I have squirted Liguid Wrench on it.
