would installing a aux. vacuum tank improve the operation of the vacuum wipers in our 46 ?

    Yes. As you may know, you can purchase a double action fuel pump, where half the pump is just providing vacuum for the wipers. Also, you can either lube your wiper motor or send it out to a place like Ficken's, for rebuilding (about $60).
