31 head problem seems to be solved

just an update. i was desperately searching for a head for a 31 straight eight, and many of you tried to help and i ma very grateful.

turns out my uncle who owned the car had some old engines etc laying around i was unaware of and low and behold! i found a good head ! so i sent it out for cleaning etc, put 4 new freeze plugs in changed all studs, and waloah seems fine now running very smooth! thanks to all of you for all your advice and help. i am interested in any and all 31 parts any of you have! so if you have something you want to sell please let me know!

GREAT!! i am so glad you got it running, too bad you couldnt use my head! Oh well, would love to see some pictures of it as well! more than the one you sent me before of it in your drive way! Were you able to use the exhaust manifold?

yes manifold is perfect!! you were great!! please keep me in mind if you find any 30 or 31 stuff that might be interchangeable!
