That's too Kewl
I'd like a copy, someone buy it and make reproductions!0 -
Sarah, are you watching? You can recoup your investment by selling knock-offs to Dan. . .0

I have one of those, got it from a defunct dealership in Burbank + other stuff. I believe I was told at the time, probably 40 years ago, that those were made for the L. A. Zone & were given out to salesmen by the dealers.
I should clean mine, perhaps bring/wear it at Pontiac (have to remember to do that, LOL).0 -
For the heck of it, I put the second bid on it. Maybe I'll be lucky and no one will bid over $26.00!0

We had two of those hats, I think my mother threw them out because they were dirty. I have a picture of my dad wearing one, he was pit crew of a local So. Cal race driver for a few years. The one my dad had was probably from 1952. As I remember these hats were cheap cheap and didn't look good after a while. Don't know if you can clean them as the cardboard wrikled and the dye ran. If knock-offs were made would probably be better quality.0
