Phoenix area Hudsons, Essexes & Marmons 1926-1930, we need you!

The City of Phoenix is about to re-open the historic A.E. England Motors/Electrical Equipment Co. building (1926) at 424 N. Central Avenue downtown.

For the June open house, we'd love to have a handful of Hudsons, Essexes & Marmons from 1926-1930 parked out front in a secure area, as the building originally functioned as an auto dealership. We understand these are rare & expensive vehicles; this is just a shot in the dark.

We'd DEFINITELY consider years beyond 1930 for those makes only. If any of you know anyone with these makes, or have one yourself and wouldn't mind showing it for a few hours on a June evening, would you email me at jodey (dot) elsner (at) phoenix (dot) gov? I just put word in with the Grand Canyon Chapter of the HET car club, too...

For more info on the building, go to the thread http://www.classiccar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17558

Here's a webcam trained on the surrounding park. The building is one-story brick with grey and green roof structures surrounding it. The building faces Central Avenue and the brand new ASU College of Journalism building. http://10.220.92.50/index.html?size=1&mode=0

May I suggest that you go to the AACA Forum site at http://forums.aaca.org/ubbthreads.php , then scroll down to Domestic Makes and Models, and find the Marmon Forum under that? Then, post your request there. You might even find someone who would know if, in fact, that wasa Marmon dealership.
