I've seen these before. Yours would have hung in a Hudson dealership. What, exactly, is your question about the banner?
  • I was looking for some history on them, where they would be from, dealer etc. I am also looking to find a value either for insurance purposes or for selling. I havent been able to find any info on them.

Thanks for looking and any help you may be able to give me.
  • I did post pictures, let me know if you cant view them. I can send you an e-mail if needed. Thanks for your time.

These posters were provided to all Hudson Dealers as part of their introductry package for the new 1955 Hudsons. This package consisted of a supply of hand out literature, the wal posters, some self adhiesive stickers to draw pospects attention to the various "new" features of the cars, and I beleive some window trim for the show room windows.

Also included was a "Service Parts" package that the dealers paid dearly for!

  • Very interesting. THANK YOU. I thought they were a dealer item but was not really sure. It is nice to know some history about the items. Thanks.

I do have an old photo of a dealership in NY at night. I am assuming that they were from there. I have it hanging up.

Pics opened on my browser. As above these were issued to dealers for display for the new line.

Unless there is a dealer name somewhere on the item(s) it would probably be impossible to specify a specific dealer.

Not being familiar with these I have no idea of value - Paul Schuster would probably be a good bet, or Charlie Nau.
