1930 Essex lubrication recommendations.
I found the operators manual online to this vehicle and it mentions different oils for lubricating various parts of the vehicle and need some info on how the names relate to modern oils/weights.
Engine oil: high grade medium heavy body. Maybe 30wt?
Light motor oil for starter etc. Maybe 10wt?
Transmission oil?
Rear axle heavy body differential oil. Maybe 80wt?
Heavy body gear oil for steering gear?
Any help would be appreciated so I'll know what oils to get to start working on this vehicle. Thanks. Steve
