Has anyone experienced flooding of the float chamber( especially the rear carb) when the Twin h carbs are first started after sitting for a couple of weeks or so? AND, did you solve the problem with the ball type float valve sold in the WTN?

  • If you have the old style needle and seat, steel, that is your problem. If you have any modern style unit, then your problem is today's gas dries out in 2 to 3 days and turns to varnish, and new gas must pass through and will clean it out. To fix this problem add STA-BIL to your gas every time you fill your tank. All auto stores carry this item, and just read the label. Walt.

Yes, and yes. The ball valves work great.
