Front Seat Removal

HOWDY!
I recently took my front seat out of my 52' Hornet and turned out to be simple. My seat cushion just pulled out and off, then there were 2 bolts connecting the frame to the floor, both easily accessible and then I had to remove the springs and the whole seat just came out!! Im not sure if it was supposed to be that simple, there had been some weird customizing that was done before it became mine!!0 -

it doesn't take a lot of effort to remove the tops as well. this will make it much easier to handle. there are two bolts at the bottom of each cushion then they hinge up and release from the top. actually you may not need to do that (to get enough flex) its been a while you may be able to keep the cushions in place. on each hinge there is a cotter pin/washer once these are removed you need to spring one of the legs to pop off the hinge pin.
with your task at hand, it's likely leaving the bottom in place will be fine and all your pieces are manageable for one person0
