Looks like a pretty good solution. Need a few more photos to illustrate what has to be done to the shift column --- how the unit splices into the steering shaft and outer column, etc.0

Here is how I did it.

A big difference in effort when the car is setting on the shop floor. I haven't done a road test yet.
The biggest obstacles are the shifter tube and lack of horn wire to the horn button. I think it is a much better option then adding pump, hoses and the other stuff that the 54 stock system has.
