Can the stronger 38/9 pumpkin with 8 CWP bolts be retro fitted to the 34/5/6/7 housings?

    Yes, you can change the whole unit, but you cannot bolt the stronger c.w on to the earlier carrier.

    Thanks Geoff. Do you know if that same 8 bolt CWP centre was used in any of the 40 to 46 cars?

    Yes, the same unit was fitted from late 1938 thru 1947
