Axle and OD seals (Stepdown)
Howdy all ,
My 50 super has blown 5 seals recently and I’d like to get a double check on the axle seals and get a number for the OD rear seal .
I have inner seal as 40769s and outer as 17243 , are these proper ?
The transmission is of the single lever variant, I believe a R10 OD. Anyone have that seal number?
Thanks!

Outer rear seal can be one of the following:
Inner rear seal can be one of the following:
I am sure there are more. Inner seals are much harder to find.

@cchancel Thank you ! That part number is a pain to find!
it seems to me that my inners have royally failed and the new outers have failed as well .

I have had no problems locating the SKF 17310s for the outer. You will have to ask around to find the inner seals (maybe Wildrick will have something, https://www.wrphet.com/).
