I have been given an Essex Six engine, (in bits), that I believe is circa 1930. can somebody please advise : details on side of engine case are: 1750 on the left side and following on the right side: H4 P7 and 65184 under the H4
still going through the bits, a lot no good for my 1927, e.g. Marvel VE carburetor
Thanks, Alan

A picture is worth a thousand words! If it is a '30 engine it will have a breather on the fornt lefdt, and water jacket plates, and will not have anything that will interchange with your '27 apart from cam, lifters valves, and timing chain, etc.
