You mean my favorite car? I owned one just like the one in the pic from '89 to '94. It had a small block V-8 with a factory 5-Speed and posi-traction. Lots of fun for a dumb high school/college student.
Yes, but it is so ugly!

I think that we don't have to look back too far...Newer Ford F150's, Azteks, Scions, Avalanche- All designed by a fellow with the last name of Kleenex! How about all of the new cookie cutter cars- Jetta, Saturn, Honda, etc...They all look like pregnant skateboards! Who will remember these modern ugly cars? Only the drivers of them. Maybe some of the older ones were ugly too, but at least you knew what make and model they were! Everybody makes fun of the AMC Pacers and Gremlins. I have to laugh at this. Ever see the older cheap Honda Civic? It is strikingly similiar to an old Gremlin! A Pacer? I never had one, but I drove many. I haven't rode in any new cars that rode like that car did. It also handled real well! Ugly? Yes. A Pinto? A Mustang II? Vega? Maverick? Citation? Chevette? Biscayne? All were Ugly- but cute in there own little way. In 20 years or so, we probably won't even remember any of these new cars because they have NO CHARACTER! My vote is for ALL NEW vehicles because they rely on aftermarket bling for individuality. I like ALL of the old cars....0

Well said dude!0 -
gosh, I'm still having a difficult time trying to even organize a poll...
I have to say that almost every car listed holds it own in competition. There really isn't much out there that's real pretty.0 -
I gotta vote for the Scion (toaster) models as the ugliest vehicle ever devised by humans.
Those are so ugly, that some day they'll be launching them into space.....just to get rid of them!0 -
Nicest car (non-hudson) I've ever driven... 66 Dodge Dart GTS 340 4-barrel 4-speed convertible. Comp. clutch and pressure plate, Edelbrock intake and carb, and Posi-trac, brought to the shop for brakes. The other guys let me test drive it after the work was done because I missed out on all the good cars! (I was born in 78)0

I rather like the Viper design. The nicest looking one in my opinion was the '91 Prototype, driven by Bob Lutz at the Indy 500. That snake will suck the prancing horsey off the nose of the Ferrari. Speaking of Ferraris, I fooled with a 308 once and considered buying one, until I got in it and looked carefully... Bloody hot with the engine location... noisy... has to go to 9 million RPMs to make power... cramped... and the electronics, switches and so forth, reek of Lucas land rover parts. That settled the issue for me. I bought a Porsche instead.
Out in my shop I have a list of about 30 cars that I intend to own before I leave God's green earth. Six are marked off as "own". Here's a few favorites off that list, Hudson not included; I have also not included anything in the mega-bucks price range, such as a '29 Chrysler Imperial which I'd love to have but won't pay $250K for.
-1958 Plymouth Fury or Belvedere, just stunning lines, it embodies all of the 50's Jukebox styling without being gaudy.
-1931-2-3 Studebakers, with the oval headlights. Beautifully conceived and intentionally overbuilt.
-Aston Martin DB5 or 7.
-Bentley R-Type Continental 1952-55.
-55 TBird.
-1968 Dodge Charger.0 -
One of the nicest riding cars I've ever owned was my '64 Lincoln Continental suicide more-doors. It would just glide down the road like you were sitting on a pillow! Great big seats front and back for a good time! Sucked on mileage, but a classic big car all the same. Darn that engine bay fire in '79!0
