Transmission hole covers

My 50 Pacemaker transmission has two large holes in the top of the clutch housing. I doubt they are supposed to be open after assembly. Are there rubber boots that are supposed to cover them? Where would I find the boots?

One hole is almost triangle shaped, the other is oblong.

    Everybody else's is open Alexa. Just make sure you can't throw the cat thru your floors so your big toe doesn't get down in there.
