What color is the engine on a 1940 6 deluxe? Also, what color is the transmission and clutch housing? Thanks.

    Some silver engine paint is a bit too 'chromey' looking. Try Duplicolor 500 degree engine paint in aluminum, available at NAPA and others. If you don't lay it on too heavily, it has just the right look to match the original.
