Might want to post this at the Yahoo Hudson 1916 1929 Super Six message board. More of the older Hudson cars and folks that own them over there.0 -

Walt;
That is the same carb that's on my 28 Essex. It may fit earlier model also.

I think, according to what I can figure out, also fits 1924-1926 Hudson - if it does I know somebody can use it. Fellow in Idaho just bought a 1926, 14,500 miles, beautiful car - but doesn't have a carburetor and missing a few fuel lines.
Just dropped him an email, CC to you, to contact you.

Speaking of carbs. Where does one go to get carb rebuild kits?

Jim, what ever you find, DO NOT buy any NEW OLD STOCK, it's all junk0

It is for all Essex 6, 1924-1928 incl. The Hudson carburettor is much bigger (1-5/8" throat), and doesnt have the elbow n the upper portion.

I get them from Terrell Machine in Tx ,they they about $35 bucks, Terrell turns around and has them shipped from Datona Carburetor. Since i dont have a cleaning/soaking tank I call on a buddy to do that for me.Sort of round about but works0

Walt informs me that it does have a 1-5/8" throat, so it is for a 1924 -'26 Hudson Super Six. I had a look at both Essex and Hudson carburettors on my shelf, and they both indicate "Model 25". Confusing! However, there is no way they would interchange. The "Series" is obviously the production number. I have Essex Carburettors with both series B and F on them. Even more confusing!
