Timeing Cover Seal

You can get a speedi-sleeve that fits right over this, and gives you a new surface. they are a very thin stainless sleeve, with an applicator ring. You punch the sleeve on, then peel the applicator ring off. Any good bearing shop should be able to get these for you.

A machine shop will turn up a new one for a few dollars. The stainless steel sleeves are a good idea. I fitted one recently on the diff pinion shaft. The seal was leaking due to bad corrosion and wear. Regards, Barry0
