1935 Hudson engine hood hinge.

Hi,
Does anyone have any information or pictures of the method by which the centre hinge pin is
attached to the car. Particularly at the windshield end. Also is this a fairly standard arrangement
for cars of the period.
Thanks,
john

 • on my '35 t-plane they used identical part number "U" shaped chromed brackets with a countersunk macine screw on either side of the hinge. the screw went through the bracket and lip on the front side of the cowl, with a nut and washer to attach. tom
 • should read "machine screw"...vice "macine screw" ...sorry
 • John, if you require photo's of the parts - private email me at 1934hudson@charter.net. I just received these parts back from the plater so, before I install them on my 34H can email you a couple pix! Jim
 • Has anyone removed the lock mechanism from glovebox 2 locksmiths have tried and failed
